Alok Pugalia |
Alok Pugalia, Co-Founder and Design Manager at Sankalp Semiconductor brings in 7 years of industry experience in multi-disciplinary system design, AMS services, Post Silicon services and solutions, customer relationship management and people management. He is a post graduate in Micro Electronics from IISc, Bangalore.
Alok Pugalia brings in significant experience in variety of domains including MEMS, Wireless Systems, USB, AMS, Mechatronics from his roles prior to joining Sankalp. He has in his name multiple systems ranging from MEMS based Load Cells, Accelerometer systems and Piezo Resistive/Electric sensors. His system expertise was key in building USB based Wireless Display Systems, Patient Monitoring System-On-Chip and Infra red Transceiver systems. His domain of expertise includes system architecture definition and circuit design. He has also worked on Missile control systems.
Alok has been playing multiple key roles in Sankalp from the time of its inception. His expertise of picking up and growing new domains from scratch along with managing customer and team seamlessly has helped Sankalp grow into multiple domains. He led few of the key customers in the infant days of Sankalp to bring stability and growth to the company. He has developed in depth experience on Physical Design(45nm and 32nm Memory systems, 180nm to 65nm AMS modules, 90nm & 45nm Std Cell Libraries), EDA(Rule Deck development, regression and verification, User level testing of tools like Titan, Sabio, Laker, Multiple automation in Ocean/Skill/Perl etc, Quality Checkers), Circuit Design(GPIO, Advaced IOs, LVDS, Std Cells), System Modeling(Pipeline ADC, OPAMPs, GPIO), System Design(MEMs control systems, Differential capacitive measurements), IBIS Modeling of IOs, Macro Modeling(DC-DC converters, LDOs, Drivers, OPAMPs) in his current tenure at Sankalp. To complement his technology expertise he has led and stabilized multiple teams for different customers working closely with the clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions in timely fashion with high quality compliance.
Alok graduated from National Institute of Technology, Surathkal in Electronics and Communicaton. He did his post graduate in Micro Electronics and was the Gold medalist from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) with specialization in Sub Micron Device Physics, Analog & Mixed Signal VLSI, Analog System Design. |
