Analog & Mixed Signal Design

With a strong focus, Sankalp Semiconductor provides Analog Design Services and Solutions in different domains of Analog and Mixed Signal Design. Sankalp Semiconductor has worked on a variety of Analog circuits ranging from custom Amplifiers, Comparators to custom Clocking Circuits to custom Analog switches and multiplexers to all domains of Power Management circuits including reference generators and DC DC switchers.

The following solutions have been developed at Sankalp Semiconductor:

Data Converter - A variety of Data Converter circuits have been defined and designed at Sankalp Semiconductor.

Analog to Digital Converters
SAR ADC having High Speed and High Linearity with Serial interface, High Voltage Multiplexer, Multiple Analog Supply Range, Multiple Input Voltage Range, with a Temperature Sensor, and in built Reference Generator, Low THD has been developed at Sankalp. Pipeline ADC involving Low power, High speed Pipelined ADC with higher ENOB.

Digital to Analog Converters
DAC with high speed, low power and a rail to rail buffer.

Custom Clocking Circuits - Various custom clocking circuits involving Phase Locked Loops and Delay Locked Loops have been defined and designed at Sankalp Semiconductor to state of art medium frequency range applications of DDR and MIPI systems. These circuits provide precise clocks to required areas of the chip.

Phase Locked Loops
with Low jitter, the Differential VCO providing quadrature phase outputs, with Duty cycle correction, with internal lock detector and Built-in self test has been developed.

Delay Locked Loops
with Low-jitter, Programmable delay generation, Differential delay generation, Duty cycle correction, internal lock detector, Built-in self test.

Power Management Modules - A variety of Data Converter circuits have been defined and designed at Sankalp Semiconductor.

Low Dropout Regulators
(LDOs with varied specifications mentioned below). A wide range of LDOs have been developed at Sankalp Semiconductor. LDOs powering Clock Circuits with low noise and high PSRRs have been developed. LDOs with very low drop out to supply critical blocks have been developed. LDOs which power DDR2 and DDR3 applications with high current loads have also been designed. Other LDOs which power DC-DC switchers have also been developed. Other features that LDOs have been designed to account for are Soft start, Inrush current limiter and Short Circuit Protection.

DC DC Buck Converters
Integrated Buck Converter in sub-micron technology

Reference Generators
Reference Generators for High Precision and Low Noise applications like ADCs and DACs have been desgined and developed.

Power on Reset
These circuits detect the power applied to the chip and generate a reset impulse that goes to the entire circuit placing it into a known state.
