Samir Patel - CEO

Samir Patel is the CEO of Sankalp Semiconductor and has played a key role in setting up Sankalp’s global operations in North America and Europe. Samir has had a successful stint spanning 16 years at Rambus where his last held position was that of Sr. VP - Engineering.
He has also held senior positions at Sun Microsystems, Catalyst and National Semiconductor.

Samir Patel holds a B.Tech degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai and an MS degree from The University of California, Santa Barbara. He is credited with executive courses from Stanford University.

Madhav Rao - Vice President Engineering

Madhav Rao is Vice President, Engineering at Sankalp and is responsible for all Digital, Custom Layout and Technology Foundation Services delivery, heading a team of over 450 engineering professionals.

An industry veteran with over 22 years of experience in semiconductor space, Madhav had been associated for 21 years with Wipro – from being a Project Engineer in 1994 to having held the post of General Manager & Delivery Head of Wipro’s Semiconductor & Systems Division where he had managed several global customers and a large group of engineers.

Madhav holds BE degree from Mumbai and an M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur.

Hisaya Keida - Japan Head

Hisaya Keida is the Japan Head at Sankalp and is responsible for executing the expansion of Sankalp’s presence and tasked to take the company to the next level in Asia including Japan. An industry veteran with over 36 years of experience in the semiconductor space and a pioneer of fables ASIC business in Japan. Hisaya Keida was the CTO of Kawasaki Microelectronics, and responsible for all oversea (USA, Taiwan, India) operations and engineering before it was acquired by Megachips. His expertise lies in developing libraries, IOs, memories, analog mixed signal IPs in networking domains, process and manufacturing. Hisaya Keida holds Bachelor of Engineering degree from Waseda University in Tokyo Japan.
